Rhodium is a rare, silvery-white transition metal from the periodic table. It is highly resistant to corrosion and is often alloyed with platinum and palladium to create strong yet malleable materials. Rhodium is used in automotive catalytic converters to reduce harmful emissions, as well as in jewelry and other decorative items.
