Vanadium is a silvery-white metal on the periodic table, and it is part of the transition metals group. It is mainly used to create strong and lightweight alloys for aircraft and vehicle parts. Vanadium is also used to increase the corrosion resistance of steel, and it has been used in the production of nuclear reactors.
