Selenium

Selenium is a chemical element from the periodic table. It is a non-metal with properties between those of metal and non-metal elements. Selenium is primarily used in electronics, such as photocells and solar cells. It is also used in the production of optical glass and pigments. Selenium is silvery-grey in color, and is usually found in combination with sulfur and metals.
