Zirconium is a chemical element from the periodic table. It is a gray-white transition metal that is found in many minerals. Zirconium is used in the production of nuclear reactors and fuel rods, as well as in the production of high-temperature ceramics. It is also used in the production of titanium alloys and foundry molds.
